Course Booking Informations

What you need to know

Course contract

​

By purchasing any of our courses, you agree to the Term & Conditions below which is a legally binding contract, so please read them carefully.

​

Coursework and certification

 

  • 3 months only. Therefore, any coursework and assessments not completed within these 3 months will mean your placement in the course no longer exists and you will not have any rights to certification that has been given previously to this date. You are not entitled to any refunds after the course started.

 

  • You have to complete a set of written and practical assessments after your course has taken place and they must comply with the guidelines set out by your educator.

 

  • Certificates will only be given once all requirements are met. Your educator will confirm once all your assessments have been received or if there are any issues so you can adjust them.

 

  • Your educator has your best interest at heart and to provide high-quality education "negative" feedback is only given, to help you to see and to understand what you could have done better and what you need to improve on. This doesn't necessarily mean, that you have failed. Your educator will give you further help, to improve your technique and will do this professionally and as kindly as possible. We do not accept any claims against this, as "negative" feedbacks are our right to give and to provide quality education to improve your skills.

 

  • Certificates can be collected in person from BPK Nails & Academy or a digital copy can be sent to your chosen e-mail address free of charge. Hard copy certificates can be posted for a flat rate of £10 only within the United Kingdom. Contact us, if you need to discuss delivery abroad.

Attendance, cancellation or rescheduling

 

  • If you do not hand the necessary assessment in on time then a certificate cannot be given and you will have to retake it at an extra cost. In the case of technical issues, you must contact us immediately and explain the situation as well as rearrange the date.

 

  • If we are contacted any later than 30 minutes after the supposed start of the online live lesson then it will be classed as an absence. If you do not attend and do not inform us of an absence at least 24 hours before the live call a fee will be charged. The date can be rearranged upon discussion with the educator.

 

  • Face-to-face courses can be cancelled or rescheduled in writing a minimum of 14 days before the agreed start date of your training. If you cancel or wish to reschedule less than 14 days before, your deposit won't be refunded, and you will need to re-book and pay for your training again. If you cancel more than 14 days prior, you have the right to a refund. *For the refund may fees apply due to the money transaction.

 

  • Online training CAN NOT be refunded after purchase, as you receive digital materials straight away. In case there is an issue, please contact us to help to resolve any technical problems you may have.

 

  • We reserve the right to reschedule your training for up to 14 days before your agreed date. In this case, you will be offered alternative dates, but no refund will be given.

Behaviour, Disability and Health Conditions

 

  • Any learner who is abusive to our staff members, other students and clients via email, phone or in person, will immediately have their course cancelled with no refund given. This also applies to any person who may be under the influence of alcohol or drugs or who shows any signs of violence or disrespect towards educators, colleagues or clients when attending the practical course. BPK Nails & Academy or the educator may call the Police if its staff, other students or clients are deemed to be in any danger.

 

  • All students have a responsibility and are expected to be polite to all members of staff, colleagues and fellow students. If any student has issues with an educator, colleague or fellow student attending the course they must notify BPK Nails & Academy in writing.

  • You must inform BPK Nails & Academy should you have any health conditions or disabilities which may restrict you from participating in practical activities during your training

 

  • It is the learner’s responsibility to inform BPK Nails & Academy of any learning disabilities, medication or allergies when enrolling on a course.

Copyright and using replicates

 

  • Students must not replicate another student’s work or use pictures or videos from the internet for their assessments

 

  • You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, store or in any other fashion re-use materials from the Website and any material handed out during live sessions (such as handouts, training manuals and any other materials) unless otherwise indicated on the Website or unless you have our written permission to do so.

 

  • No part of our publications may be reproduced, stored in a retrieval system or transmitted in any form or by any means, electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording or otherwise, without prior permission of BPK Nails & Academy. Legal action can be and will be taken if permission has not been granted.

Bookings, payments and invoices

 

  • All face-to-face courses require a deposit to be paid to secure your training days. Once the dates have been arranged, you have a maximum of 24 hours to pay it via our website or in person at the academy. If you fail to do so, your booked dates can be given to other students.

 

  • The remaining amount of your course fee is required to be paid 7 days before your training day if it is paid for via our website, or on the date of your training in cash if it has been approved by the Academy.

 

  • Invoices are automatic via our website. If you pay in cash, please let us know beforehand to allow us to complete your paperwork. No invoices can be claimed after your course has been completed.

Other

 

  • Photos will be taken during your training at the academy and may be used for advertisement or to be shared on our social media platforms. Please let us know in writing if you have any issues with that.

 

  • You might be asked for feedback after the course has been completed to improve our services

 

  • Starter kits are available to purchase with discounts through the academy, but it has to be paid in advance. Please let us know if you require them, so we can order them and discuss payment

 

  • Equipment requirements will be discussed as you need to be able to record and take photographs of your work (if there isn't anyone who could hold your video recording device).

 

  • Discount codes can be traced back so please do not share them with anyone else as it could result in yours being revoked
